Job Responsibilities
At Adult Psychiatric Clinic 1, the social worker role involves collaborating in our interprofessional team with other clinic staff and is responsible for psychosocial work. We offer a stimulating and varied job with tasks including various assessment conversations, treatments both independently and in cooperation with other professional categories. You will also collaborate with healthcare partners regarding patient rehabilitation. As a social worker, you'll also be part of our suicide prevention program.

About the Workplace
Adult Psychiatric Clinic 1 in Västerås is part of specialist psychiatry in Region Västmanland, serving patients with mental health issues requiring specialized care in Västerås, Surahammar, and Hallstahammar municipalities. We receive patients based on their birth dates (days 1-10). Our team includes doctors, nurses, social workers, psychologists, occupational therapists, and administrative staff.
We work in two teams, aiming to provide patients with quick, high-quality care and professional treatment. We are a well-functioning clinic characterized by openness, collaboration, and respect for each other's expertise.

Qualifications
We seek candidates with:
• Social work, behavioral science, or equivalent higher education
• Preferably basic psychotherapy (step 1) training
• Previous experience in psychiatric treatment, addiction problems, and/or neuropsychiatric issues
• Excellent Swedish language skills (verbal and written)
• Good computer skills

Employment Terms:
