Job Responsibilities As a therapist with us, you will work clinically with specialist-level interventions. You will represent your profession's perspective in the team and have a versatile role focusing on the child from start to finish. This means working broadly across various areas including assessment, investigation/part of investigation, and treatment. Initially, there is an increased need to focus on providing treatment interventions to our patients, but we hope you will be interested in working broadly within your profession long-term. You will closely collaborate with various professional groups and external partners such as schools, social services, and other care providers. Our clinics have teams including social workers, therapists, nurses, doctors, occupational therapists, medical secretaries, and psychologists. Currently, Child and Adolescent Psychiatry in Västmanland is focusing on modernizing work methods and increasing accessibility for patients and relatives. About the Workplace Child and Adolescent Psychiatry in Västmanland is county-wide with clinics in Sala, Västerås, Köping, and Fagersta. We also have specialist units, inpatient beds, and an emergency department. Our goal is to offer care tailored to each child's specific needs. We work based on evidence and proven experience, characterized by a health-promoting approach. Connection to research for increased quality is important for development opportunities, with potential future research possibilities. A regional psychiatric research center has been established to gather psychiatric research across the entire administration. We seek a confident person who sees opportunities and is eager to share ideas. Understanding organizational systems, possibilities, and limitations is crucial.
