Our Organization Habilitation in Uppsala County belongs to the Close-to-Home Care and Health administration in Region Uppsala and has for many years been a "habilitation at the forefront". We are a specialized organization with expertise in intellectual disabilities, autism, and various forms of congenital movement impairments, serving children, youth, and adults with disabilities. We work to create conditions for independence and an active life through developmental, supportive, and compensatory interventions. Our cross-professional teams are located in Uppsala, Enköping, Tierp, and Östhammar. The organization is characterized by development and evidence-based approaches, offering a stimulating and varied job. Competence development and experience exchange occur continuously within the habilitation's own organization. Each profession also has regular meetings to ensure equivalent competence across the county's different units. The administration has a Research and Development Department aimed at stimulating and supporting development work. Your Assignment We offer meaningful work with complex and developing patient cases. We work in cross-professional teams, and you will work both independently and together with competent professional and team colleagues. Our unit's target group is patients with autism without intellectual disabilities. You will work with adults and their closest relatives. The psychosocial treatment work includes both individual contacts and group-level interventions, such as conversation groups for diagnostic knowledge and social skills. Important tasks include mapping initial visits, informing about societal support, and guiding around daily life challenges. The assignment also involves collaborating with other organizations within the region, municipalities, and society at large. The work is varied and stimulating. Regular working hours are weekdays 8:00-16:30, flexible work agreement applies, and partial remote work is possible. Your Competence We are seeking someone with a social work degree, preferably with additional training in psychosocial treatment work. Experience working with people with disabilities is meritorious.
