Would you like to learn more about what Cyprus has to offer and what life there can be like?
Cyprus is an island located in the middle of the Mediterranean where you can find everything!
With stunning nature, fine white sandy beaches, and turquoise sparkling seas, you are always close to amazing experiences. Cyprus has some of the finest bathing waters in Europe according to the Blue Flag classification, with an average temperature of 27 degrees in the summer, and there are many fun activities to try at sea. How about jet skiing, snorkeling, windsurfing, or water skiing? Or perhaps you would like to try wreck diving – if you're lucky, you might spot both turtles and seals! While beach lounging is great, if you turn your gaze towards Cyprus's magnificent mountain ranges, you will also find activities such as hiking, jeep safaris, guided tours in national parks, and skiing in the winter.
In the many cozy towns around the island, you will find everything from wonderful nature experiences to cultural attractions and world-class shopping. The island is characterized by the blend of influences from both Greek and Turkish cultures, reflected in everything from the exciting food culture to fantastic historical sites and cultural heritage. As a former British colony, Cyprus is a place where people meet, and the international atmosphere permeates the mood, with the island known for its warm, welcoming locals.
You can get by with English as virtually the entire local population speaks the language, but if you wish, there are certainly opportunities to take courses in, among other languages, Greek, which is also spoken by many on the island.
