Ungt fokus in Danderyd Municipality is an organization of 16 employees, consisting of Demo cultural and activity house (Demo), outreach youth coordinators, and a Youth Center in Träffpunkt Enebyberg, which is a youth center with open activities aimed at grades 5–6, alongside a senior activity. All under the leadership of the youth manager at Ungt fokus. Demo is a well-established meeting place for young people in Danderyd, centrally located in Danderyd Municipality, close to local transport and two of the municipality's upper secondary schools, targeting high school and upper secondary students. We are now looking for a competent and dedicated cultural producer for Demo. You will be part of a team of five individuals led by a manager. Each employee has specific assignments and skills that contribute to Demo's positive and creative atmosphere. At Demo and within Ungt fokus, we work together towards the same goal: to provide young people with a rich and meaningful leisure time in accordance with the municipality's Child and Youth Strategy. RESPONSIBILITIES In your role as a cultural producer, you will work as a youth worker in open youth activities, contributing to inspiring young people's curiosity and awakening creativity and the desire to express themselves through various artistic forms. You will create platforms for young people's creativity while introducing new experiences and cultural forms that inspire and engage the target audience. The work as a cultural producer also includes promoting youth influence to ensure that the activities reflect the needs and interests of the target audience, as well as developing and strengthening Demo's presence on social media with a thoughtful visual profile and marketing strategy. The main creative and versatile responsibilities of the cultural producer include: • Offering young people a wide range of cultural experiences • Contributing to making Demo an inspiring environment for creativity • Collaborating locally on issues concerning youth and culture in Danderyd Municipality • Managing independent projects with youth involvement • Cooperating with colleagues at Demo and other staff within Ungt Fokus The role also includes: • Strengthening young people's artistic expression and helping realize their ideas • Contributing to Demo's operations and development through various cultural expressions such as music, art, dance, literature, film, and theater, among others • Planning and marketing evening and weekend activities • Working with social media and the website to reach out to young people • Building relationships and reaching new target groups • Being an approachable youth worker and role model for young people • Seeking new networks and establishing contacts within the cultural sector QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who have: • A relevant university degree in culture, cultural studies, art, media, music, communication, project management, or other relevant education deemed equivalent by the employer. • Knowledge of and interest in social media, web, and marketing. • Experience working with young people. • Excellent ability to express yourself in both spoken and written communication. • Familiarity with delivering presentations to an audience. • Experience in relationship-building work. • Experience contributing to the development related to youth activities. It is an advantage if you have: • Diverse work experience, including organizing cultural events, seminars, and producing film/music/theater experiences or similar. • Experience in applying for project funding and writing proposals. • Experience in event organization, including contract writing, finance, and budgeting. As a person, you have a strong commitment to young people's leisure time, driven by curiosity, creativity, and a desire to continuously develop. You are confident and emotionally stable, stand up for your opinions and have the courage to speak out when necessary, while having the ability to separate issue from person.
