Welcome to us
In our world, culture is important.
We need spaces for culture. Places that allow for play, creativity, and dreams. Spaces where one can discover, develop, and express themselves. Spaces for imagination! At the Culture School, children and young people aged 6 to 22 have that space. Here, they have the opportunity for creative expression in their free time in any of the Culture School's many subjects, including music, singing, theater, musical, dance, circus, art, and media. Through various events, both large and small, students can perform in front of an audience. Instruction is provided in our own facilities, equipped with professional equipment, as well as in schools across Stockholm.
We offer you
We offer you a varied and exciting role where you will be involved in providing meaningful leisure activities for Stockholm's children and young people. You will work with engaged colleagues and have the opportunity to express your creativity, always aiming to find new ways to reach out to children.
Your role
Teaching in visual arts, design, art, and media in groups. Furthermore, your role includes actively participating in meetings and professional development.

Culture Administration
The Culture Administration works to ensure that the cultural offerings in Stockholm consist of a diversity of different expressions, offerings, and opportunities while also encompassing both breadth and depth. The Culture Administration is responsible for the majority of the municipally operated cultural activities and provides support to the independent cultural sector.
The Culture Administration has approximately 1,000 employees and includes the Culture School, Stockholm City Library, Liljevalchs Art Gallery, Stockholm Art, and the City Museum. The Events Department organizes large public events such as the Stockholm Culture Festival and the youth festival We Are Sthlm. The Culture Administration's activities receive about 11 million visits each year.
A challenge for the Culture Administration is to reach more people, including groups that we do not currently reach. Everyone should feel welcome in our activities, which places high demands on the competence and commitment of our employees. We actively work with sustainability and strive for equality and diversity. We welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds and experiences.
The City of Stockholm works with competency-based recruitment aimed at recognizing each person's competencies and thereby counteracting discrimination.
