Katrineholm Technical College, KTC, is a modern high school focusing on technology, natural sciences, and vocational education. The school is located in the same building as Duveholm High School, near Sports Center and Backavallen in Katrineholm.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
You will work in new, purpose-built facilities with modern technical equipment. Your tasks will consist of teaching and guiding students. You will highlight subjects through creative and practical teaching and work with digital tools. You are responsible for students' learning and development through teaching and support by focusing on each student's specific knowledge and conditions. Your role as a teacher also includes standard teaching tasks such as planning, evaluation, and grading. You are expected to drive continuous development work within courses and in the team.
QUALIFICATIONS
Katrineholm Technical College is seeking a certified vocational teacher in HVAC or an industry-certified HVAC installer who is curious about teaching. Having a vocational teaching degree is meritorious, as is previous experience teaching in high school. We prefer candidates with previous experience working with welding, cooling, ventilation, and technical insulation. The ideal candidate has strong IT skills.

You relate to others in a sensitive manner, noting perspectives and others' competencies in a way that benefits the whole. You help clarify group tasks and goals and share your knowledge. You take initiative with new proposals and working methods and have the ability to explain why activities should and can be implemented.
