JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Correctional Officer, You Will Be Part of a Team with Daily Client Contact. Work at a Remand Center is Often Routine-Driven and Focused on Care and Security Tasks. Clients May Be Detained for Long Periods Without Meeting Anyone Other Than Their Lawyer and Remand Center Staff, Which Places Special Requirements on You as a Correctional Officer.

QUALIFICATIONS
Your Personal Characteristics Are Important to Us. As a Correctional Officer, You Need to Be Confident, Stable, and Have Good Self-Awareness. When Working with Your Colleagues to Run the Operation, You Need Good Collaboration Skills and the Ability to Communicate Clearly. Your Professional Practice Requires Good Judgment and Integrity. You Should Have a Physical Status That Enables You to Act Physically When the Situation Requires.
We Are Seeking Candidates Who Have:
• Work Experience, Including Seasonal Work, Hourly Positions, or Self-Employment. Internships and Volunteer Work Are Not Considered Equivalent to Employment
• Complete High School Education or Other Education Combined with Work Experience That the Swedish Prison and Probation Service Deems Relevant
• Strong Swedish Language Skills in Both Spoken and Written Communication
• Good Computer Skills
It is Advantageous if You Have:
• Work Experience in Corrections, Security Work, Social Care, Psychiatry, or Care and Support Services
• Knowledge in Relevant Areas, Such as Behavioral Science, Criminology, Psychiatry, Law, and Conflict Management
• Class B Driver's License
