About this role
Are you ready for a life-changing job? At the Swedish Medical Products Agency, we work every day for the health of the Swedish population and animals. We are now seeking an IT Requirements Leader who wants to help shape the future of digital solutions in the pharmaceutical field – solutions that make a real difference for both people and society.
Our Operations
The IT unit at the Swedish Medical Products Agency consists of approximately 115 dedicated employees with diverse backgrounds and skills. Together, we take a comprehensive approach to the agency's digitalization needs and work closely with users to develop our operations. We participate in the entire lifecycle from idea, requirements, architecture, design, development, and testing to deployment, management, incident handling, and user support. Our goal is to deliver accessible, stable, and secure IT support that provides real value. We continuously develop our working methods, technologies, and tools to meet future needs. The IT unit is located in bright and open premises at Uppsala Science Park – close to nature and within walking distance to the city center.
Your Responsibilities
You will join a humble and supportive group where we learn from each other and celebrate our progress. The work is organized into two teams: one specialized in RPA and the other in Oracle APEX. Together, we drive both management and further development of our applications using modern low-code technology.
As a Requirements Leader, you play a crucial role in the teams, contributing to their functioning as a unit – in terms of working methods, collaboration, and delivery. You drive the requirements work from needs gathering to clear, prioritized requirements, in close dialogue with the business and the team. You own and facilitate the team's backlog – ensuring that the right things are done in the right order, with a focus on business value. In your role, you contribute to the agile working method in the team by leading planning, refinement, and other activities. You work closely with developers, UX designers, testers, project managers, architects, and other key personnel to deliver smart solutions.
Your Background
We are looking for someone who has:
• Post-secondary education in IT, Computer Science, or other relevant experience as assessed by the employer
• Several years of experience in requirements work within digitalization
• Experience facilitating meetings and workshops, preferably in roles such as Requirements Leader, Requirements Analyst, Scrum Master, or Product Owner
• Excellent proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
It is advantageous if you have experience in:
• Software development and architectural requirements within or for government, life sciences, biotechnology, and/or medical technology
• Agile development in small to medium-sized teams, with a focus on collaboration and continuous improvement
• User-centered development and UX methodology to ensure that solutions meet actual user needs
• Tools such as Azure DevOps (or equivalent) for managing backlogs and requirements
• Leading and developing teams as well as coordinating working groups and interest forums within technology or business development
• Working according to quality management systems and regulatory processes such as GAMP5, ISO 9001, or similar
• Certification in requirements management, such as IREB CPRE or equivalent
• Experience with low-code technologies such as Oracle APEX or RPA.
Your Personal Qualities
You thrive in an environment where collaboration is central and where you can contribute to the team's collective success. You easily establish close dialogues with both the business and the development team, and you take initiative, see the bigger picture, and drive the work forward – always with the team's best interests in focus. As a person, you are a natural coordinator who builds trust, creates good relationships, and brings others along on the journey. You have the ability to quickly grasp complex business issues and technical contexts, and you skillfully navigate between different perspectives and needs. You enjoy a context where you can combine structure with innovative thinking – and appreciate being part of shaping both working methods and deliveries.
We place great importance on personal qualities.
