About the Position
This is a specialist role for someone with experience in both traditional requirements analysis and modern discovery methods. You will be a support to our business specialists and development teams – with the mission of contributing practically while spreading your knowledge and mentoring others, as well as actively leading work in more comprehensive and complex initiatives.
You will move between proven IT methodologies and a more needs-driven, exploratory, and collaborative approach – where the goal is to discover, validate, and build the right solutions that deliver real value, together with users and teams.
What You Will Do
- Support and further educate our business specialists and development teams in needs and requirements work, including product discovery, i.e., exploring needs, challenges, and solutions.
- Work closely with our development teams and contribute to daily development work.
- Step into larger initiatives and projects where needs and requirements work is complex – and take an active role in driving work forward by creating the right structure, working methods, and direction together with teams and the business.
- Facilitate workshops and co-creation activities with various stakeholders for needs gathering, discovery, and requirements analysis.
- Capture and manage non-functional needs – such as security, performance, accessibility – as well as regulatory requirements affecting our digital solutions.
- Contribute to developing and spreading modern approaches for needs analysis, discovery, and solution design in the organization – while helping us balance the established with the new.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with several years of experience in requirements management within IT or software development, preferably from organizations with a system landscape where modern digital platforms and older system solutions interact.
You have worked in both traditional and modern, more product-driven environments and have the ability to manage established structures and existing working methods – while having experience working with a more exploratory, discovery-based approach.
You are accustomed to leading and facilitating workshops with various stakeholders and have a good understanding of how to create engagement, collaboration, and concrete results in such forums. You have very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
You have a proven toolkit of modern methods and approaches for discovery and solution design, such as:
- Impact mapping, story mapping, and assumptions mapping
- User and customer journeys, jobs-to-be-done, and canvas models
- Opportunity solution trees, design sprints, and studios
- Hypothesis and experiment-driven development, rapid prototyping
It is meritorious if you have:
- Experience contributing to transformation from traditional IT to a more product-driven, user-driven, and agile approach.
- Worked with UX, user insights, or held the role of product owner for a digital product.
- Education or certification in facilitation or relevant techniques and methods.
