About this role

Research, Education and Innovation Unit (REI) has a mission to support employees and operations within Region Norrbotten in fulfilling their assignments, as well as being responsible for strategic development within research, innovation, and education. Within the education area, we are responsible for coordinating and developing physician training programs (AT/BT/ST), medical education provided at Sunderby Hospital via Umeå University, clinical placements in various healthcare professions, Clinical Base Year for newly employed nurses, the region's e-learning function, and the Clinical Training Center (CTC). CTC is a newly started operation, and we are seeking someone who wants to help establish a clinical training center in Region Norrbotten. We are seeking someone with a university education in healthcare or equivalent education/experience deemed comparable. This specific position will focus on organizing, planning, and following up on CPR training within Region Norrbotten, so knowledge and experience in this area is meritorious. We place great importance on personal qualities. You communicate clearly and follow up to ensure involved parties understand expectations. You value and see the benefits of collaboration. You motivate people and easily develop contacts and relationships at all organizational levels. You can handle tasks of varying importance simultaneously and have a structured working method where planning, prioritizing, re-prioritizing, and follow-up are natural elements. The Clinical Training Center in Region Norrbotten has an operational mandate to conduct decentralized learning. We will support operations' needs for clinical training and medical simulation by educating and supporting unit-specific instructors in training their own teams. At CTC, we have the task of proposing how internal training can be implemented based on operational needs. As this is a newly started operation, tasks during the build-up phase will involve starting education on a smaller scale and gradually expanding the operation. Organizational tasks may also be included. Daily responsibilities will include planning and implementing training programs, ensuring equipment and materials are in good condition and updated. You will collaborate with other departments and external partners to optimize training opportunities, mentor staff in professional development, and support the organization's learning processes.
