The Swedish Prison and Probation Service is growing - we are building new facilities, renovating, and expanding, and are now seeking more employees. The Security Department is responsible for all security activities within the Swedish Prison and Probation Service. The focus is on ensuring that the agency's security work is conducted sustainably, contributing to a legally secure and effective correctional service. The department's vision is to be a leader in security work at an international level. The Swedish Prison and Probation Service collaborates with several partners according to Government Decision JU2008/5776/PO to ensure effective and sustainable combating of organized crime.
The Intelligence Service is part of the agency's security organization, working to collect, compile, evaluate, and analyze information to support decision-makers, managers, and other clients within the Swedish Prison and Probation Service with decision-making data. The assignment includes monitoring the external environment, internal and external collaboration, and national and international cooperation on security issues.
We are now seeking an intelligence expert in a supervisory position, located in Stockholm.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As a supervisor, your main tasks are to direct, support, and follow up on the part of the Intelligence Service that collects information through communication and dialogue. In your leadership role, you are required to work actively and independently within your area of responsibility. Project dialogue is conducted with the work group daily.
The tasks are performed to assess inmates from a risk and security perspective. The operation is characterized by a high level of security awareness.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are seeking someone who is good at creating and maintaining relationships. You have a high security awareness and well-founded, clear values. You plan, organize, and prioritize your tasks efficiently. In your work, you create contacts and feel comfortable speaking in front of groups. You have a good ability to make correct assessments and show good judgment in statements, actions, and decisions. In a changing daily environment, you easily adapt to changing circumstances. You are committed to your work, take initiative, and achieve results. Furthermore, you are communicative and have good problem-solving skills, and lead and motivate your group towards common goals, reporting and conducting continuous coordination with the group manager within the framework of your assignment.

We are seeking someone who has:
• Relevant university education or other education combined with experience that the Swedish Prison and Probation Service considers relevant
• Experience in team leadership and creating structure in an organization
• Meritorious service within an intelligence function
• Very good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish
• Good proficiency and aptitude for handling various computer systems
• Class B driver's license
It is meritorious if you have:
• Documented specialized intelligence training
• Corrections experience
• Experience working as a supervisor
• Experience with the Swedish Prison and Probation Service's client databases and understanding of their functions
• Good knowledge of security and confidentiality issues
• Good knowledge of information security
• Language skills and experience from other cultures
