Contract Quality Manager

Your Role Saab continues to grow, and we are now looking for a Contract Quality Manager who wants to be part of Contract Quality Management within Ground Combat. As a Contract Quality Manager, you will be part of a team with broad expertise and experience. You will have overall responsibility for quality assurance of Ground Combat’s contracts that involve our world-leading support products. Together with other functions in the company, you will ensure execution and delivery on time, with the right quality and cost. You will work closely with several functions within both the business unit and the business area, as well as have regular contact with our national and international customers. The tasks in this role are both varied and self-developing. Your future colleagues in the team plan their days differently as there is great freedom in how the work is organized and executed. Commonly performed tasks in this role include: * Acting as our contact person with customer quality representatives * Ensuring that our deliveries meet the requirements and expectations set by the customer * Initiating and/or driving quality preventive activities * Planning and conducting delivery inspections to ensure compliance with specifications * Developing quality plans and flowing customer requirements and expectations to other parts of the organization * Participating in proposal work and contributing support related to quality in the contractual process * Collaborating with quality functions/roles from other parts of the organization, allowing for the development of a broad network within the company Our business includes both new development and production as well as support operations. In this role, you will also contribute to the quality of our products in close collaboration with product management. Travel both within and outside of Sweden is included in the job. The location is Karlskoga. Your Profile As a person, you have the ability to listen, communicate, and lead the quality work within your contracts. You are proactive, as the role allows for great freedom in planning and driving your daily work. We also see that you are comfortable working flexibly as situations are constantly changing. To thrive in this role, we believe you have: * A relevant post-secondary degree, or equivalent knowledge and skills from the manufacturing industry, procurement, or design. Experience in quality work is desirable. * Understanding of management systems/quality systems and standards * Knowledge of quality assurance and improvement work * Ability to translate requirements into activities * Understanding of challenges associated with working in complex programs and/or projects, preferably from an international environment * Proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written * A valid driver’s license (B) as travel is required for the position We see you as responsible, action-oriented, and methodical, with a desire to develop products and operations.
