The Payment Department's mission is to ensure the repayment of loans and claims for student support, home equipment loans, and driver's license loans. The Payment Department's employees provide customer service and handle cases initiated by customers. The department is also responsible for performing self-initiated actions to ensure repayment. The Payment Department is seeking an engaged and development-oriented Office Manager for our office in Gothenburg. Here, you will have an important role in leading, developing, and creating conditions for an efficient and legally secure operation with a focus on customers and the mission. The Gothenburg office consists of approximately 50 student support investigators and three group managers. Employees from other CSN departments are also represented at the office. About the Role As Office Manager, you have overall responsibility for the office's operations, personnel, and finances. You lead through your group managers, and in your leadership, you enable development and learning by inspiring and providing clear mandates and scope for action. Through good communication and a coaching approach, you lead, develop, and follow up based on assignments, goals, and results. You challenge thought and working methods and are open to being challenged yourself. You participate in the department's management group and take comprehensive responsibility for the department's operations, goals, and results. As Office Manager, you are responsible for ensuring that the office delivers its part of the department's goals while also being an active part of the whole, including through close collaboration with your colleagues. Through involvement and commitment, you create implementation power and pride among employees, and with your leadership, you create good relationships characterized by an open and trusting dialogue. Duty Station is Gothenburg, and travel is part of the job. Qualifications We Are Looking for Someone Who Has: • Academic education that the employer finds relevant for the assignment or equivalent work experience that the employer deems equivalent, • Leadership training, • Several years of current experience working as a manager with comprehensive responsibility for operations, finance, and personnel, • At least 3 years of current experience leading through other managers, preferably in a larger organization, • Experience in driving change and development in larger organizations, • Experience in leading through change, • Excellent Swedish language skills, both verbal and written, • Good English language skills, both verbal and written, It is meritorious if you have several years of experience in a managerial role within administrative customer service, such as at a government agency, bank, or insurance company.
