About this role

About the Position: As an Account Manager, you will sell, develop business, and build relationships with target groups including veterinarians, veterinary clinics, animal hospitals, and farmers. Your daily work is varied, focusing on finding solutions to simplify customers' daily operations and providing long-term advice and support regarding our animal health products and services. It is important that you can naturally take responsibility and work proactively to assist customers. Your role involves independently driving growth and profitability for your district, converting new clinics, and developing existing customers in the animal health industry, with the right tools and organizational support. Work involves varied communication through phone and digital channels with leads and customers, as well as on-site visits. A significant portion of work time is spent with customers across East, West, and Central Sweden, extending to the Northern region. Ideally, you should live around or in Stockholm, and your home address is not critical as long as you can sustainably cover your assigned region. Work Responsibilities: Primary responsibilities include: • Selling products and services by seeking out, contacting, and scheduling meetings with existing and new customers • Understanding customer needs and ensuring these are met by proposing relevant products or services • Assessing potential and existing customers' conversion opportunities and prioritizing time accordingly • Sending and following up on quotes with the goal of closing as many deals as possible • Reporting results, insights, and customer processing status back to MWI Animal Health, including competitor and market monitoring • Participating in internal meetings, external conferences, and trade shows • Carpooling with colleagues and suppliers Requirements and Characteristics: Requirements: • Licensed veterinary nurse or animal caretaker (level 2 or 3) with over three years of clinical experience • Valid driver's license (B-license) • Fluent Swedish in speech and writing • Good English language skills • Proficient computer skills, especially in Excel and Microsoft Office suite • Willingness to travel, spending multiple days per week in your district with occasional overnight stays and weekend trade show participation • Sales or customer service experience is advantageous Personal Characteristics: MWI Animal Health seeks an Account Manager with a natural ability to: • Build and maintain trust and relationships • Sell products and services confidently • Be ambitious and outgoing with strong communication skills • Enjoy meeting customers in their workplace • Comfortably present to individual or group customers • Be business-driven and creative in achieving goals • Work independently, be structured, and plan long-term • Demonstrate basic financial understanding • Be humble, positive, and curious about quickly acquiring knowledge of MWI Animal Health products and services • Be a team player committed to contributing to collective team goals and success About MWI Animal Health: MWI Animal Health is Sweden's only full-range animal health wholesaler, dedicated to supporting those working with and living close to animals.
