About the Position
As a contact nurse, you have a coordinating role and are responsible for ensuring that patients have the right conditions to receive treatment, participate in their care, and obtain the necessary information to undergo treatment and follow-up.
Although we work based on clear routines and guidelines, each patient encounter is unique. Needs change over time, and your role is to be a safe and present contact before, during, and after treatment.
Workdays at our oncology clinic are varied – both in content and pace. Your daily work may include informing patients, planning and following up treatments, giving injections, and collaborating with other hospital units. You also offer advice on rehabilitation and sexual health.
Our team has a rotating schedule for the consultant nurse role. This means that on some days, you support colleagues with administrative tasks, act as a contact person for other units, and are available to assist doctors with urgent measures.
The position contributes to our 24/7 operations by working two weekend shifts per month.

Qualifications
Requirements:
- Licensed nurse
- At least one year of professional nursing experience
Merits:
- Completed contact nurse training, 7.5 credits (if you have not already completed the training, we offer the opportunity to do so on the job)
- Experience as a nurse in urology or cancer care
