Are you looking for a stimulating and developmental part-time job a few hours per week/month, where you have the opportunity to help a person with disabilities participate in community life and enjoy a meaningful and engaging leisure time?
We are seeking individuals who want to take on roles as Contact Persons or Companions for children, youth, and adults with special needs.
Assignments are scheduled on weekdays, weekends, and evenings. You will carry out the assignment based on the individual's needs and interests. We expect you to have a good ability to take initiative, as you will be responsible for planning and executing meetings and activities.
**Contact Person**
The role of the Contact Person is primarily to be a friend who is present and shares the individual's interests and who wants to make an effort to strengthen the individual both socially and in their independence.
The most important aspect is that you, as a Contact Person, instill trust and security and are curious about supporting the individual further in life. Together with the individual, you will choose what to do during your meetings, which could include going for a walk, having coffee, or exercising. Important elements of the assignment include guiding and advising the individual in everyday situations that are not too complicated for other expertise to be consulted. We would therefore like you to possess qualities that can serve as a role model for the individual.
**Companion**
The role of the Companion is to accompany individuals to and from activities outside the home, such as swimming, gym workouts, or movie visits. As a Companion, you facilitate social contacts and leisure activities under safe conditions and help to break isolation.
**Qualifications**
Personal suitability is of utmost importance as we work with individuals with varying needs and health conditions. To be suitable for the assignment, we believe you should be attentive, empathetic, driven, and service-oriented. We are looking for individuals who enjoy interacting with others, who are interested in how others are feeling, and who have a stable and secure life situation. You need to have an interest in building a lasting relationship and a willingness to engage. Experience in care and support or similar education is an advantage.
Before you are assigned a role as a Contact Person or Companion, we would like to meet you to get a sense of who you are and how your opportunities for an assignment might look. This meeting will also help us assess whether you possess the qualities required for the role of Contact Person or Companion.
A certain compensation is provided for the assignment, in the form of hourly fees and reimbursement of expenses.

Recruitment is ongoing, and candidates are called based on the available assignments and suitable matches. The matching is based on the individual's preferences, which may include gender, age, interests, and, if necessary, experience with individuals with special needs.
