Consulting Unit Manager Systems Safety & Quality Management

We are currently in a phase of expansion within the Critical Systems business area and are strengthening our team in Linköping within the Systems Safety & Quality Management unit with a consulting unit manager. As a result, we see a strong increase in demand for our capabilities and expertise, as what we can offer is central to creating a secure, safe, and resilient future society. **Your Role as Consulting Unit Manager within Systems Safety & Quality Management** In the role of consulting unit manager, you will have traditional personnel responsibility and be a central part of the management team for the unit. Your team consists of highly senior employees primarily focused on offering expert services in system safety and quality. As a consulting unit manager, you will be engaged in recruiting, leading, developing, and inspiring your unit. In addition to leadership, you will actively work on business development. This includes identifying customer needs, building strong customer relationships, and developing our offerings. You have a natural business focus, enjoy engaging in dialogue with customers, and are accustomed to working solution-oriented. By understanding both technology and the customer’s operations, you will drive business-oriented and sustainable solutions forward. We believe you are excited about shaping how we work - both internally and with our customers - and that you see the potential in combining technical expertise with business acumen. **Who Are You?** We are looking for someone with experience in customer-oriented consultancy work, with a focus on sales and business development within technology. You also have previous leadership experience and many years of experience in the development of critical systems. Your experience and passion for the combination of technology, leadership, and business development will be crucial in driving the business forward to become the obvious choice for customers and partners seeking support and guidance in developing safe and usable critical systems. Your technical experience has provided you with a solid understanding of the various aspects of system development, such as requirements, design, architecture, and verification, as well as system safety and quality. You have developed a good understanding of safety standards and how they are interpreted and applied, such as ISO26262, IEC61508, DO-178C, DO-254, ARP4754A, ARP 4761, and ISO13849. Experience from various industries is also advantageous. You have established networks and good relationships with customers in the local market. As a consulting unit manager, you are an important cultural carrier at Combitech, and we place great emphasis on personal attributes. Since the position involves work that falls under defense confidentiality, it requires you to undergo and be approved in a security clearance with a background check.
