IT Infrastructure Consultant, Örebro

We are currently seeking a consultant in IT infrastructure for our client in Örebro for a consulting assignment lasting approximately 12 months. The role involves becoming part of a team responsible for the authority's data center and storage solutions, with a focus on operations, development, and project work. About the assignment As a consultant, you will work with the authority's storage platforms, which currently consist of: - NetApp OnTap - NetApp SnapCenter - Dell PowerProtect Data Domain - Dell PowerProtect Data Manager - Dell PowerProtect Cyber Recovery - Dell PowerScale - Dell PowerStore You will be part of a team/section that manages the data center, where daily operations, change management, and development are part of everyday life. The role also includes participation in projects for the design and implementation of new solutions. We are looking for someone who has: - At least three years of experience in operations, maintenance, and projects within the data center, storage, and backup area. - Experience with large, complex data centers with high security requirements. - Practical experience with storage and backup platforms, including NetApp and Dell products (as listed above). - Documented experience working on projects or closely with data center VMware. - The ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on quality and security. A complex data center refers to an environment with high demands for confidentiality, integrity, availability, and traceability, as well as established security frameworks and multi-layered security measures. Scope: 75% of full-time, with the possibility to increase to 100% if needed. Location: Örebro, with the office as the primary workplace (typically 5 days/week).
