Functional Safety is a multidisciplinary field that contributes to developing safer electronic products for our society. Within our Compliance & Management business area, we support an effective transition to digital, sustainable, and secure solutions through expert knowledge in areas such as quality, safety, sustainability, and project management. Job Responsibilities You will be part of our Functional Safety team, working in cross-functional teams for our customers. In the team, we support each other and develop our knowledge collectively. Customers are in manufacturing industries such as energy, defense, and automotive. You will work on varying projects and participate in different competence initiatives during your career at Knightec Group. Your tasks will include: • Developing and improving safety concepts and processes: ensuring embedded systems processes are compliant, secure, and user-friendly. • Working in cross-functional teams on functional safety projects. • Developing new processes and safety concepts and training organizations. • Helping our customers achieve optimized functional safety compliance. Some assignments may be subject to defense confidentiality, which means an approved security clearance may be required. Qualifications We are looking for someone quality-conscious who thrives in regulated environments. We also want you to have: • Engineering education in electronics or equivalent • Strong interest in process development, working methods, and functional safety • Experience in similar roles within manufacturing industry, with experience in energy or defense sectors being advantageous • Experience with software or embedded systems verification or validation according to applicable standards • Good understanding of model-based system development and requirements-based product development • Fluent communication in Swedish and English In addition to playing a crucial role in shaping the future, you will have great flexibility to shape your role and focus on the parts you find most interesting.
