ABOUT THE POSITION
As a design engineer, you'll work on mechanical design throughout the product lifecycle of professional chainsaws. You'll be responsible for developing new products and maintaining existing ones, which includes everything from detailed design and simulation to tolerance calculations and project management for your areas of responsibility. You'll be part of a relatively new team of 16 people, where you're expected to become a key player in the team and drive your own projects from idea to implementation. You'll be responsible for ensuring design quality through close collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders to deliver innovative and sustainable solutions.

DUTIES
Duties
* Work on new development and maintenance of existing products according to requirements and guidelines.
* Work on detailed design in Catia.
* Actively validate parts/concepts, prototypes, and design samples.
* Verify design and perform tolerance calculations.
* Establish and update geometric specifications/drawings.
* Plan and act as project manager for your area of responsibility
WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO
- Have previous experience in product development and mechanical design.
- Have a completed college degree in mechanical engineering, product development, or similar.
- Possess the ability to understand and describe technical problems and perform root cause analyses and tolerance settings.
- Have very good knowledge of both Swedish and English.
- Have good CAD skills.
