We are currently undergoing an expansion, moving to newly renovated facilities in Falköping – an investment creating excellent conditions for growth, development, and new opportunities. We are now seeking a self-driven and responsible design engineer who wants to be part of this journey and contribute to shaping the next stage of the company's development. You will have a central role in a technology-driven company where you quickly become an important part of the whole.
Your Responsibilities
As a design engineer, you will be offered an rewarding and developmental position with extensive new design and product development of innovative solutions for interesting customers. You will primarily work on designing hydraulic blocks and associated equipment, but also other hydraulic components and larger systems. You will model in CAD, create manufacturing drawings, draw hydraulic diagrams, and develop assembly and testing instructions. The role also requires some customer contact, which demands good communication skills. You will actively participate in product testing and evaluation, and collaborate closely with sales, production, purchasing, and preparation to tailor solutions according to specific customer requirements.

To succeed in this role, we are looking for someone with technical understanding and practical experience. You are meticulous, structured, and have an analytical approach that allows you to solve complex tasks with precision. You are self-motivated, quick to learn, and take initiative, while being socially competent and comfortable maintaining active dialogue with both customers and suppliers. Your ability to collaborate and respectful approach make you easy to work with. You are humble, curious, and open to change, which contributes to continuous professional development. A business interest and understanding of customer needs are also important qualities you possess.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably mechanical engineering or equivalent knowledge
• Work experience in design is mandatory
• Proficiency in CAD software, preferably SolidWorks
• Excellent Swedish and English skills, both verbal and written
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Additional merits include experience in hydraulics, machining, or control engineering. Experience working in a workshop, such as a fitter or CNC operator, is also advantageous.
As the company is currently moving from Skövde to Falköping, we seek someone who will be stationed in Falköping. High on-site presence is crucial, so you need to live within reasonable commuting distance.
