About the Company
GKN Aerospace Sweden is part of GKN Aerospace, which manufactures engine components, aircraft structures, cabin windows, wiring, and much more for many of the world's aircraft. The Aerospace division companies working on engine parts together form Engines, and at the Trollhättan facility, advanced parts for aircraft and space rocket engines are developed and manufactured. They also work on engine maintenance.
Your Responsibilities
As a Configuration Manager at GKN Aerospace, you will have primary responsibility for driving and supporting one or more of the company's projects with configuration management, i.e., planning, development, production, delivery, and modification of our products. You will ensure that product data is complete, updated in the configuration management system, and traceable throughout the product's lifecycle.
The role is central and crucial for ensuring that our projects and products meet the requirements for order and precision of safety-critical products in our industry. Product data is used in relationships with various customers both internally and externally. Collaboration with other departments and partners in manufacturing, product development, customers, and suppliers is crucial.
Your Profile
Qualifications:
• Academic bachelor's degree, college studies, or equivalent knowledge gained through experience
• Proficiency in Swedish and English, both verbal and written
Meriting:
• Experience in configuration or quality
• Knowledge of PLM tools such as SAP and/or Teamcenter
• Office package
