Group Accounting Economist at Bilia, Gothenburg

As a Group Accounting Economist, you'll become part of our dedicated finance team and work broadly with all aspects of group accounting and reporting. In close collaboration with our various companies within the group, you'll ensure that accounting and reporting principles are followed throughout the organization. You will also be involved in developing the use of our reporting and consolidation system IBM Cognos Controller. In this role, you report to the Head of Group Accounting and Treasury. Main Tasks · Group financial statements and consolidation · Interim reports and annual reports, according to IFRS · Reporting to group management and board · Continuous improvements of routines, processes, and systems · Ad hoc tasks and projects Qualifications We are seeking candidates with 3-5 years of experience in group accounting, financial statements, and IFRS. You have a good understanding of the entire financial flow and are accustomed to taking responsibility and delivering high-quality work on time. We prefer candidates who have worked in auditing and have reviewed group accounting in larger international companies. Furthermore, you have an academic degree in economics and are proficient in both Swedish and English, both spoken and written. You are an experienced Excel user and have a genuine interest in systems, digital solutions, and AI. Experience with Cognos is merit-worthy.
