About this role
Do you want to be part of developing group accounting in a fast-growing Swedish healthcare group with strong brands and national presence? We are now looking for a Group Accounting Manager – a key role for those who want to work broadly with accounting, consolidation, and reporting in a dynamic and forward-thinking organization.
The position is based at the head office in central Malmö. You will be offered a permanent full-time position, and the start date can be adjusted according to your current notice period.
We welcome your application as soon as possible, as we are continuously selecting candidates for interviews.
About the position
With us, you will have a central role in a growing group with a clear structure and great commitment. You will be part of a competent and driven finance team and work closely with the group management. The role is suitable for you who thrive in a company where things happen, where decision-making paths are short, and where you can take responsibility – but also grow with the task.
Our operations are organized into four business areas, each with its own CFO responsible for that area. Currently, there is no CFO at the group level, which means that as the Group Accounting Manager, you will report directly to the CEO. You will be one of a few employees working at the group level, responsible for coordinating and ensuring the quality of the financial reporting for the entire group.
Your main responsibilities
As the Group Accounting Manager at Prima Vård, you will be responsible for ensuring that the group's accounting and reporting are done correctly, efficiently, and on time. You will work closely with the CEO and the finance managers in our business areas and play an important coordinating role during the monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
You will be a key person in the ongoing consolidation of the group’s approximately 85 companies, including a subsidiary outside Sweden, and actively contribute to developing routines, systems, and methods within accounting and reporting.
The role primarily includes:
• Responsibility for consolidation and quality assurance of the group's reporting
• Preparation of materials for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Coordination of closing processes and communication with auditors
• Ongoing accounting for the parent company and foreign subsidiary
• Analysis of the group's financial results and balance sheet items
• Support for the business areas' finance functions in accounting matters
• Participation in development projects within finance and reporting
• Responsibility for driving projects to change the consolidation system
Prima Vård currently reports according to K3, but in the autumn of 2025, a project will begin for the transition to IFRS in the parent company – a journey in which you will play a central role.
Who are you?
We are looking for someone with several years of experience in accounting and group reporting, preferably from a larger organization or auditing firm, who is now looking to take the next step in their career. You have a good understanding of accounting principles and thrive in an environment where you can combine operational work with analysis and improvement efforts.
We believe you have:
• Relevant higher education in finance
• Experience in group accounting and qualified accounting, as well as good knowledge of K3 and IFRS
• Worked with consolidation systems
• Good IT/system skills and an interest in the digitalization of financial processes
We currently work in Visma Group but will evaluate and switch to another group accounting system in 2026.
Previous experience in group accounting in a group with foreign subsidiaries is an advantage.
As a person, you are meticulous, structured, and unpretentious. You thrive in a growing company where you can combine pace and responsibility with a positive, solution-oriented culture. Furthermore, you have the ability to work independently, take responsibility, and drive issues forward.
For this recruitment, we will use psychological testing for candidates selected for interviews and background checks for the final candidate.
