We are now seeking a Component Engineer for an upcoming assignment at Saab in Linköping. Here you'll have the chance to work with groundbreaking technology in an environment characterized by collaboration, innovation, and development.
Your Role
As a Component Engineer, you'll have a key role in selecting, qualifying, and documenting components for advanced defense and security products. You'll work closely with both suppliers and project teams, contributing to ensuring the right components are used - both in new development and in managing obsolete components.
This is a role for someone who enjoys diving into details, analyzing technical solutions, and understanding components in depth. You'll have the opportunity to work on multiple parallel projects with high component throughput, update databases and component libraries, and conduct material declarations - all in an environment where technical interest and curiosity are truly appreciated.
Your Profile
We are seeking someone who has:
* Education in electronics, mechanics, or mechatronics
* A genuine technical interest - preferably an analytically-minded engineer with a passion for components
* Good collaboration and communication skills in Swedish and English
* A structured and meticulous work style
You can be a recent graduate or have a few years of experience - what matters most is your curiosity, drive, and willingness to develop. CAD experience is meritorious but not a requirement.
