Adult Education Kungälv
We are now looking for a principal for Adult Education who wants to lead, develop, and inspire us on our continued journey towards lifelong learning for all.

Adult Education is part of the Competence Center Kungälv, which consists of the units Support and Provision, Labor Market, Integration, and Study Guidance. The common denominator for the Competence Center area is work and studies. We are now seeking a Principal for Adult Education who wants to help create educational solutions for the future labor market.
**Responsibilities**
As the principal of Adult Education, you will have overall responsibility for the operations, focusing on quality, development, and collaboration. You will lead an engaged team and work closely with the labor market and other educational actors to ensure that our programs meet future needs.
You will be responsible for operations, staff, finances, and work environment, and you will drive the development of flexible and individualized educational formats within municipal adult education, SFI, and vocational training. An important part of the role is to work on revenue generation, and we view positively if you have experience in this type of work within municipal or private sectors.
Your assignment includes:
- Leading and developing the operations of Adult Education based on the municipality's goals and assignments.
- Being responsible for quality work, systematic work environment efforts, and operational planning.
- Driving pedagogical development in collaboration with employees and educational providers.
- Building relationships with the labor market, other school forms, and external partners.
- Contributing to cohesion and collaboration within the Education Administration.
**Qualifications**

You are a confident, clear, and present leader with a strong commitment to adult learning and the role of education in society. You thrive in a development-oriented environment where you can combine strategic thinking with practical leadership.
You have:
- Principal training or another relevant higher education degree that the employer assesses as equivalent.
- Experience in leadership within adult education, upper secondary school, or other educational activities.
- Knowledge of adult learning, labor market training, and collaboration with external actors.
- The ability to create participation, trust, and engagement among employees.
We consider it a merit if you also have experience working with the business sector and its skills supply needs, digitalization processes, and development issues within education.
