The mission of Digitalization IT and MT in Region Skåne is to drive both digitalization and digital transformation, as well as to ensure a robust and purpose-driven IT and MT landscape. The mission is regional and includes the management, support, and development of existing and upcoming digital services for all of Region Skåne's operations. Digitalization IT and MT enable the work with digitalization and the introduction of new ways of working. The management works closely with the operations to understand needs and deliver robust, value-creating solutions that empower employees and benefit residents. Digitalization IT and MT is a unifying force in Region Skåne's digital transition. Digitalization IT and MT is located in Lund and the communication unit consists of a manager and five employees, forming part of the regional communication department, Group Staff Communication. Through communication efforts, Group Staff Communication contributes to strengthening Region Skåne's brand as well as realizing operational goals and political decisions. TASKS We are now looking forward to welcoming a temporary communicator to our team. Are you driven and thrive in a role with many points of contact where you can plan, lead, and execute complex communication assignments? Then you might be the colleague we are looking for! A central part of your role is to support the management in communication matters, both at a strategic level and in operational implementation in close collaboration with the operations. You need to feel comfortable switching between being advisory and an important support in change management to translating that into concrete communication plans, presentation materials, and texts. In your role, you will work with both internal and external communication. You will handle the management's press and media inquiries in close collaboration with Region Skåne's regional press service, and create content such as articles for our intranet, press releases, informational materials, and social media posts, among others. You are skilled at tailoring messages to the target audience and based on the various channels they work with, making them as accessible and clear as possible. Work with project communication may also occur as part of the role. With us, you will have a unique opportunity to work closely with two significant operations: Digitalization IT and MT and Group Staff Communication. You will collaborate closely with colleagues from both areas. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone with a university degree in media and communication studies or another equivalent education that the employer deems comparable. You have several years of experience in both operational and strategic communication work, as well as familiarity with handling press and media issues. We also expect you to have experience in change communication and to have thoughts on how to use AI in a smart and responsible way in communication work. Additionally, you have experience working in project form where you have acted as both strategic and operational communication support in projects. To succeed in this role, excellent knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, is required. As a person, you are self-driven, proactive, and confident in leading your own assignments from idea to execution. You work in a structured manner and have the ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments simultaneously. You are solution-oriented and handle challenges in both assignments and contacts constructively. You possess strong self-leadership and the ability to navigate a complex organization. With a humble approach, you balance listening to and receiving input from colleagues while confidently arguing for and standing behind your decisions. You contribute to building, maintaining, and further developing effective collaborations both internally and externally. We value your strategic and analytical abilities, particularly your understanding of how communication can support operational goals and your competence in analyzing target groups, needs, and channels.
