The Position and Responsibilities We are looking for an experienced and committed communicator who wants to contribute to strengthening culture, sports, and leisure in one of Sweden's most multifaceted municipalities. As a communicator with us, you will work on developing and promoting the Culture and Leisure Administration's activities. You will plan, produce, and follow up on communication efforts that highlight the administration's work in culture, art, libraries, sports, and leisure. The role involves many points of contact and close collaboration with managers and colleagues throughout the organization. Your main responsibilities will include: - Planning communication efforts together with the administration's activities. You will coach and provide advice on internal and external communication. - Producing target group-adapted content in text, images, and video for the web, social media, and printed materials. This includes attending activities and events to interview and document. - Following up on communication efforts related to activities, projects, and events. - Developing and improving processes for the administration's communication work in collaboration with colleagues. - Contributing to the municipality's overall communication efforts in cooperation with communicators from other departments and the central communications unit. - Ensuring that all communication materials comply with the municipality's guidelines for graphic profile, accessibility, and visual language. - Managing press and media contacts. In this role, you will work closely with the unit's graphic designers, digital marketers, and cultural developers to create coordinated and impactful communication efforts. You will provide expert support in various projects and work both independently and collaboratively with colleagues to ensure that the administration's messages are relevant, clear, and reach the right target groups. Who You Are You have a university degree in communication, media, or another relevant field. You have several years of documented experience working with communication both strategically and operationally, for example, through responsibility for planning, production, and follow-up of communication efforts. You have worked in roles where you have independently driven communication assignments and collaborated with various functions within the organization. Additional Requirements: - Experience in planning and executing multiple communication assignments simultaneously. - Experience in communication related to events, change management, or crises. - Experience in writing and producing target group-adapted texts for web, social media, and other channels. - Experience in tailoring messages to different target groups based on purpose and channel. - Experience in text production without technical aids and in using AI as support when it streamlines work. We consider it an advantage if you have: - Experience in communication work within politically governed organizations. - Experience in working within culture, sports, or leisure activities. - Experience in creating moving content as well as working with storytelling and social media. - Experience in brand-building communication. As a communicator in the Culture and Leisure Administration, you will work in an environment with many points of contact and several parallel assignments. To succeed in the role, you need to be structured and able to prioritize your work so that communication efforts are carried out on time and with high quality.
