**Responsibilities**

The Communications Unit is responsible for coordinating and developing the internal and external communication of the management and offers communication support to operations and management. This means we handle a diverse range of communication tasks in close collaboration with each other and the management's operations. Our primary mission is to conduct effective and democracy-promoting communication work.
The Communications Unit is part of one of our management and support departments, namely Development and Governance. We aim to be at the forefront, and together with our colleagues, we work to ensure that the City Property Management is a leading manager and construction actor with proud employees and satisfied tenants. **Your Tasks:**
For this position, the main focus will be on communication regarding the management's construction projects and properties. You will provide communication support to managers and employees working on the projects, which you will do with a consultative and proactive approach. The support includes communication planning, coordination with, for example, construction contractors and other departments in the city, and the production of informational materials.
The role also includes working with the organization’s overall internal and external communication and contributing to the development of our common issues. Together with your colleagues, you will monitor the external environment, propose and implement improvements, and develop governance and support documents within your area of responsibility.
**Additional Responsibilities:**
- Create content for prioritized channels, including writing and publishing news on the intranet, goteborg.se, as well as posts for social media and press releases.
- Plan and implement cross-departmental communication initiatives.
- Conduct capacity-building efforts, such as internal training and other informational activities.
**Qualifications**
**Who Are We Looking For?**
We are looking for someone with a university degree in communication and several years of experience in qualified and broad communication work. For example, you have worked as communication support in organization-wide contexts that encompass everything from strategy and planning to production and follow-up. Experience in project management and/or in the fields of urban development, real estate, or construction is highly valued.
For us, it is essential to work with a service-oriented mindset. Therefore, you possess high social competence and a strong ability to collaborate with others, both within and outside the management. The position requires you to switch between a comprehensive analytical perspective and a detailed level. You have the ability to see how communication can contribute to the operations achieving their goals and succeeding with their challenges. To succeed in this role, you have strong writing skills and can adapt messages based on the channel and target audience, understanding what content creates value. You also have knowledge in graphic production and use tools such as Photoshop and InDesign. You enjoy working on various tasks and collaborating with others to accomplish assignments and achieve goals. You have the ability to shift focus and prioritize in your work.
