Job Description
As a reach truck operator, you will be responsible for handling and transporting goods within our client’s warehouse. You will supply production with materials, manage returns, operate forklifts, maintain accurate inventory, and contribute to a well-organized warehouse. Your tasks will include daily checks and maintenance of the forklifts as well as adhering to safety regulations. You will also collaborate with the team to ensure that the supply chain operates smoothly and efficiently.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with a valid reach truck operator license and at least one year of experience working as a forklift operator. You should have a basic understanding of safety regulations and be comfortable operating different types of forklifts. To succeed in this role, good physical fitness and the ability to work effectively under time pressure are required. You should have completed secondary education with a focus on technical subjects or equivalent.
It is advantageous if you have prior experience in warehouse management and logistics, as well as knowledge of warehouse management systems. Experience working in industrial or manufacturing environments may give you an advantage. If you have completed further education in transport and logistics or hold a driver's license for other vehicle types, this is also considered a plus. The ability to work in a team and strong communication skills are appreciated.
