About Romme Alpin
Romme Alpin is located 13 km outside of Borlänge in southern Dalarna and is Sweden's largest ski facility outside the mountain world. Romme Alpin is open seven days a week during the winter season. Our target group is varied, and the short travel distance attracts many guests from Stockholm and other cities in central Sweden.
Romme Alpin's Ski Lodge is currently Dalarna's largest, with 700 beds. In the center of our facility, several of our restaurants are located. Additional restaurants are placed on top of Snöberget and Solklinten.
Romme Alpin's guests all have a great interest in skiing and high expectations of being well taken care of. They want to stay well and eat and drink really well. Our task is to provide them with an equally wonderful experience in the hotel and in the various restaurants as they will have on the ski slope.
We have the most ski guests during weekends and holidays. We work the most when others are off.
Kitchen - Chefs & Cold Kitchen Staff
As a chef or cold kitchen staff with us, your work primarily consists of preparing and plating food according to our recipes and instructions.
You plan for upcoming days' work tasks, ensure that your station is always on track and well-cleaned.
You assist with orders by reporting how much is needed or if something is about to run out.
You are happy to step in on other departments as needed, such as our large dishwashing room or our Hamburger restaurant.
You also play an important role in helping our younger colleagues understand their work tasks, such as refilling buffets or preparations.
Who Are We Looking For?
We are looking for someone who is passionate about cooking and wants to develop and learn new things.
You are organized, like working with fixed routines, are responsible, and have a good sense of detail. You are unpretentious and happy to help where you are most needed.
We especially like it if you:
- Enjoy working in a team, are flexible, efficient, and cooperative.
- Are good at solving situations that arise, all to ensure that both guests and colleagues feel satisfied.
Requirements:
Industry experience with education or professional experience in large-scale kitchens/restaurants.
You are therefore well-versed in food hygiene and HACCP and have knowledge of allergies and special diets.

Good to Know
All who work at Romme Alpin receive tailored training in service, the routines we follow, the food and drink we serve, and the systems we use.
You need to be able to get to and from our workplace on your own, by car or public transport, and we prefer that you understand and can express yourself in Swedish.
Romme Alpin is a smoke and snus-free workplace.
