Your Role with Us
As a chef, you will work with qualified cooking. The job also includes safely preparing and handling specialized diets and menus for our guests with specific dietary needs. You will plan, organize, and lead the daily kitchen work with your colleagues. Additionally, traditional kitchen tasks such as self-monitoring, ordering, invoice management, dishwashing, cleaning, and more are part of the role.
The position is located at Tollarps School, Monday through Friday. Weekend work may occur, typically every fourth weekend at Särlagården.
Our guests are within the school. You will have daily contact with school staff and students and are expected to be a good ambassador for the GS Meal service.
Who Are We Looking For?
We are seeking someone with approved grades from the restaurant and food program with a kitchen and service specialization or another education that the employer deems equivalent. You have experience working in a production kitchen and knowledge and experience with specialized diet cooking. Furthermore, you have good knowledge of food hygiene and self-monitoring, as well as experience with ordering and invoice management.
Knowledge and experience with dietary data programs is meritorious. You have good computer skills and can express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing.
Your personal qualities are important, and we are looking for someone who is flexible, attentive, and easy to collaborate with. You are solution-focused, positive, and have drive and commitment. Contributing that extra touch to both colleagues and guests is important to you.
Upon being offered employment, a police record extract is required according to provisions in Chapter 2, Sections 31-33 of the Education Act.
