About this role
Shared Service is Seeking New Service-Oriented Employees! Are You Our New Colleague?
We know that engaged, motivated, and pleasant employees create good service and are the key to our success. Our employees are the heart of what we do. Therefore, it is important to us that you feel comfortable in our team.
Your Role with Us
As a chef, you will work with qualified cooking in a brand-new cold food kitchen. The work also includes safely preparing and handling special diets and menus for our guests with specific dietary needs. You will plan, organize, and participate in daily kitchen work. Additionally, traditional kitchen tasks such as self-monitoring, ordering, invoice management, dishwashing, cleaning, and more are included.
Our guests are in elderly care, schools, and preschools. You will have daily contact with school staff, students, and guests and are expected to be a good ambassador for GS Meal Services.
Who Are We Looking For?
We seek candidates with an approved restaurant and food program or other relevant education that the employer deems equivalent. You have good knowledge of special diet cooking, and we prefer experience working in a production kitchen. We also want you to have good knowledge of food control and self-monitoring. You should have experience with ordering and invoice management, and we appreciate knowledge of meal planning software. Since ordering and communication are part of the job, we expect good computer skills and the ability to express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing.
Your personal qualities are important, and we seek someone who is flexible, attentive, and easy to collaborate with. You are solution-oriented, positive, and have drive and commitment. Contributing that little extra to colleagues and guests is important to you.
Since some of our operations are connected to childcare, you will need to present a criminal record check according to regulations in Chapter 2, Sections 31-33 of the Education Act if offered employment.
