**Your Responsibilities**
In the role of chef, you will create not only delicious meals with your colleagues in the kitchen but also have fun and bring your personalities to the table. You will be highly involved in creating an environment where both staff and guests thrive.
Your main duties will include:
• Working primarily with A la carte and larger bookings, occasionally even lunch
• Working in a fast-paced environment with high service standards
• Overseeing everything from regular operations to major events such as weddings and parties for hundreds of guests in one sitting
• Assisting in other stations as needed
In this role, you will have the opportunity to be creative and work with the details that bring together the hotel and the local area on a plate. Our ambition is to collaborate as much as possible with local producers for both food and drinks while nurturing the creativity that exists in the kitchen. A common goal is to be where the guests are to provide the memorable service that keeps them returning. This requires high engagement from everyone working at the hotel.
**Worth Knowing**
This position is a permanent full-time employment with a 6-month probationary period. Working hours will vary between days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. You will work according to a schedule starting as agreed. Skara Konsthotell has a collective agreement with Unionen and HRF. Your employment will begin with an introduction, allowing you to learn everything you need to perform your work correctly and efficiently.

To work as a chef with us, you need:
• Relevant educational background for the position
• Previous work experience in a hotel, conference facility, or restaurant
• Good knowledge of Swedish
• Ability to work in a structured and organized manner
• Capability to remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Experience working in a varied setting where challenges are seen as opportunities
You place high value on your interaction with guests and colleagues, which contributes to your strong communication skills. You enjoy taking responsibility, work independently, and are not afraid to pitch in where you are needed most at the moment. You have a keen eye for detail, and delivering with extra care is second nature to you.
