About this role
Are you an engaged chef with a passion for creating delicious meals for young and old taste buds? Then you might be exactly who we're looking for!
As a chef in Vansbro Municipality, you will be based in the Smedbergsskolan kitchen, working in a team where you help and learn from each other. Here, we prepare meals for all municipal operations.
You will:
• Prepare most meals from scratch
• Plan, order, and perform self-inspection according to HACCP
• Maintain the kitchen, clean, pack, wash dishes, and serve our younger and older guests.
You must have:
• Culinary education in restaurant and large-scale kitchen (3-year program) or at least 3 years of experience as a chef and/or other education/experience deemed equivalent by the employer
• Strong cooking skills in cold and hot kitchens, including specialized diets for schools and elderly care
• Excellent Swedish language skills, both spoken and written, to read ingredient lists and recipes
A valid criminal record extract must be presented before employment.
