The Swedish Prison and Probation Service is growing – we are building new facilities, renovating, and expanding, and we are currently seeking additional staff. Our primary goal is to reduce recidivism – to break the vicious cycle. If we succeed, society will be safer and more secure for everyone. We are the authority responsible for correctional facilities, community supervision, remand prisons, and inmate transport.
The operational area (VO) Tygelsjö/Ringsjön consists of Tygelsjö prison, which has 137 places for men, and Ringsjön prison, which has 82 places for women in security class 3, led by a prison manager along with seven probation officers.

As a cook, you will plan and prepare work in the kitchen, including menu planning and purchasing of ingredients. You will be responsible for preparing lunch and dinner, as well as dietary meals and other special diets as needed. Your duties will also include mentoring inmates assigned to the kitchen operations. You will ensure that the work is carried out according to current routines and legislation, including self-monitoring. The tasks also include cleaning the kitchen premises and dishwashing.
