We serve food and develop people – do you want to be a part of it? ChopChop Skövde is looking for a skilled wok chef! Are you passionate about Asian cuisine, have a good sense of flavors, and love the heat from a real wok? Then you might be the one we are looking for! We are currently seeking a full-time chef (100%), starting as soon as possible – someone who is confident with the wok and wants to work in an environment where pace, teamwork, and joy are an integral part of everyday life.
What does the role of a wok chef involve with us? Here you will get a clear picture of what the job entails:
You will wok at a high level – it is essential that you can handle the wok, work quickly, and deliver quality in every dish. You will prep ingredients – cutting vegetables, preparing meat, fish, and tofu, and ensuring everything is ready for service. You will cook Asian dishes according to our recipes and ensure the right balance of flavors, texture, and presentation. You will receive deliveries and maintain order – we work in a structured, clean, and safe manner. You will collaborate closely with the team – we help each other, support one another, and have fun even when the kitchen is bustling.

- You can wok and have experience with wok or Asian cuisine.

- Experience from Asian restaurants is an advantage, but a strong will and the right attitude are equally important.
