Come and cook at one of Sweden's largest vineyards! Restaurant Logen is now seeking an experienced and ambitious chef for a position on the team. This is a permanent 80% employment.
Logen serves a rustic Nordic menu that changes with the seasons. In addition to breakfast, we offer vineyard lunch and a 4-course farm menu in the evening. Head Chef Caroline Johansson has created a lovely "at home" atmosphere where both guests and staff feel welcome.
In the chef role, you will primarily work shifts during both evening and day. You will have some responsibility, but will also be guided by the head chef who will be your direct supervisor. Logen is open seven days a week and is located at Ästad Vineyard, approximately 25 minutes from Varberg and Falkenberg on the west coast.

ABOUT YOU
You are a positive and team-focused person, likely with 2-3 years of experience as a chef. You have excellent skills in cooking, cleanliness, and service. You are curious and always want to improve the quality of what you deliver.
Logen has an ambitious development plan for the coming years. We naturally hope that you also have a desire to develop and become even more confident in your cooking.

You may need to drive a car to perform simple errands. Having your own car is an advantage as there is no local public transport to Ästad Vineyard.

Ästad Vineyard is one of Sweden's largest vineyards with organic wine cultivation and its own wine production. Primarily growing the Solaris grape with a focus on sparkling wine. The estate has 82 rooms for overnight guests and conference facilities for 100+ participants. It also features Senses Spa, inspired by the surrounding Åkulla beech forest nature reserves. Restaurants Logen and Smakbaren serve everything from breakfast to lunch, intermediate dishes, and dinner. Restaurant ÄNG is also located adjacent to Ästad Vineyard. Ästad Vineyard is a third-generation family-owned business located just outside Varberg.
