We are now seeking a Gardener for the Parks and Nature Department at Knivsta Municipality. We are looking for someone who wants to help create beautiful, well-maintained outdoor environments for the municipality's residents and visitors. As a gardener, you will be an important part of the park team, maintaining Knivsta's outdoor spaces throughout the year.
WORK TASKS
Work tasks are varied, with an emphasis on maintaining green environments. Daily work includes caring for spring and summer flower plantings, parks, green areas, beaches, and playgrounds. Tasks also include maintenance such as cleaning and winter snow removal/anti-slip measures. We believe it is important that our employees can develop with us at Knivsta Municipality, and there are opportunities for further education and expanded responsibilities within the role.

You are positive, solution-oriented, and contribute to a good atmosphere in the work group. QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who:
• Is trained as a gardener or equivalent, preferably with at least 1-3 years of practical experience. You have solid plant knowledge and a great interest in greenery
• Enjoys working in a team and collaborating easily, while being self-sufficient and able to plan and structure your work efficiently
• Has strong personal motivation and initiative
• Enjoys working outdoors during all months of the year and is in good physical condition, as the work can be physically demanding
• Has good judgment and a high safety awareness in everything you do
• Has good Swedish language skills
• Holds a B driver's license
• Chainsaw certificate AB and clearing saw certificate RA/RB are meriting, but we also offer training opportunities in these areas
