About this role
Do you want to work in a varied and practical role where you can combine environmental work with quality and workplace safety issues? Then we may have a position for you!
We are currently seeking a KMA Coordinator with a focus on the environment for Elektrosignal Infra! This is a role for you who want to be close to the projects, contribute to sustainability, and ensure that we meet our customers' high standards.
About the role
As a KMA Coordinator at Elektrosignal Infra, you will have a broad and developing assignment with a focus on the environment, but with responsibility for the entire KMA area. You will work closely with the KMA department, report to the KMA manager, and collaborate with another KMA Coordinator on various projects. You will play a vital role in driving, monitoring, and developing KMA work in practice. Your tasks will include both administrative work and fieldwork, participating in rounds, addressing deviations, following up on environmental incidents, and ensuring that projects meet the clients' requirements.
Examples of tasks:
• Responsible for and follow up on environmental issues in projects, including chemical and carbon dioxide reporting.
• Participate in environmental and safety rounds and document and report deviations.
• Compile monthly, quarterly, and sustainability reports.
• Ensure that the projects' quality and environmental plans are followed according to applicable requirements and client guidelines.
• Act as the link between projects, suppliers, and clients – the "spider in the web" of KMA work.
• Work with construction product assessments, environmental programs, and systems such as SundaHus, Ceqqual, and similar.
• Contribute to the work with ISO certifications and other quality standards.
This position is a direct recruitment to Elektrosignal Infra. The recruitment process is managed by StudentConsulting. The position is full-time, with office hours, and is expected to start as soon as the right person is found. Work will take place both in the office and on-site in projects. Typically, you will spend 1–2 days a week on-site, sometimes more depending on the project.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for someone who is structured, flexible, and unpretentious – you thrive both on-site and with administrative tasks. You are a person who sees the big picture, takes responsibility, and collaborates easily. Most importantly, you have a willingness to learn and a genuine interest in environmental and sustainability issues. You preferably have previous experience from construction or civil engineering projects and understand how reality looks in the field.
We would like you to have:
• Post-secondary education in environmental science, construction, engineering, or similar.
• Several years of experience in environmental or KMA work in a project environment.
• Understanding of chemical management, environmental reporting, and sustainability work is an advantage.
• Good administrative skills and experience in documentation and follow-up.
• A valid driver's license (requirement).
• Good computer skills, especially in Office 365.
• Experience with ISO certifications, construction product assessments (Bvb), SundaHus, or Ceqqual is an advantage.
