About the position: We are looking for a dedicated and caring personal assistant for a cheerful and lively woman in her 50s who lives in her own apartment in Vårgårda – along with her beloved cats. She communicates without speech and has epilepsy, which means she needs support in her daily life. This may include personal care, practical tasks at home, and accompanying her to various activities – as well as something as simple and important as being a safe and present companionship. The position is a part-time job on an as-needed basis, meaning we value your availability and flexibility – it is important that you can step in at short notice. This job is perfect for you who are studying or have another part-time job and want to combine it with a meaningful side job. Who are you? We are looking for someone who is a positive, secure, and responsible person. If you have experience or education in care/assistance, that is a big plus – but the most important thing is that you are the right person and that you get along well. To succeed in the role, you need to be calm, attentive, and clear in your communication. It is also important that you have good physical ability, a certain degree of persistence – and hopefully, a sense of humor too! A driver's license is a plus but not a requirement. However, you must have a very good command of Swedish, both spoken and written. Scope & Work Arrangement: • Start date: Immediately. • Agreement: Part-time employment on an as-needed basis with an introductory pass. Recruitment Process & Employment Conditions: Recruitment Process: We will continuously contact candidates who are relevant for a first interview. The position will be filled once we have found the right person, which may occur before the final application date. Your application will be processed by personnel at ENKV assistans, along with the client, as well as any relatives, guardians, or other concerned parties. If the position involves working with a minor client, a criminal background check is required.
