Workplace Description
The research group consists of oncologists, pathologists, and engineers.
After over a decade of translational studies and large-scale analyses of retrospectively collected tumor materials, the focus is now on validating and implementing the most important findings in clinical practice through prospective clinical studies. As tumor evolution and resistance mechanisms are a key focus area, the studies include dynamic, "on-treatment" biomarker monitoring, where tumor tissue analyses are complemented and correlated with circulating tumor cell DNA (ctDNA) and immune cell composition in repeated blood samples during treatment. The research group is now located in BMC C14.
Within our research group, we prioritize a good working environment with respect and care in our relationships. We continuously strive to create conditions for job satisfaction, development, and participation for all employees.
