The Stockholm East Operations Area Encompasses Two Closed Prisons: Österåker and Täby. We Primarily Employ Corrections Officers, but Also Healthcare Personnel, Teachers, Administrators, Production Managers, and Other Important Professional Groups. Inmates are Engaged in Education, Treatment Programs, Workshop Work, Assembly, and Packaging Assignments – All to Create Structure, Meaning, and Conditions for a Better Future.
Österåker Prison is in an Exciting Expansion Phase with New Prison Spaces and Employment Facilities Coming Online Between 2025 and 2027. There are Excellent Opportunities to Grow with the Organization – Both in Number of Employees and in New, Exciting Roles. The Prison is Located Outside Åkersberga – Perfect for Those Who Appreciate Avoiding Rush Hour Traffic. Driving is the Most Convenient Way to Get Here. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Under the Supervision of the Corrections Inspector, You as a Client Case Manager Will be Responsible for Comprehensive Client Work. This Includes Planning, Following Up, and Quality Assuring Work with Inmate Sentence Planning, Sentence Calculation, and Preparing and Making Decisions According to Prison, Remand, and Administrative Laws in Accordance with Delegation. Your Assignment Includes Making Assessments Based on Current Regulations, Guidelines, and Practices, as Well as Continuously Mentoring and Training Staff in the Client Process. Collaboration with Other Parts of the Prison and Probation Service and Other Authorities is Frequent. Additional Administrative Tasks May Also Occur.

We Seek Candidates Who Have:
• University Degree in Law, Behavioral Sciences, or Equivalent Education/Experience as Assessed by the Employer
• Experience in Administration/Case Management
• Excellent Swedish Language Skills, Spoken and Written
Advantageous Qualifications Include:
• Experience in Corrections, Security Work, Social Care, Psychiatry, or Care Services
• Completed Prison and Probation Service Basic Training
• Experience in Client Case Management at Correctional Facilities
• Experience Handling Tasks Involving Legal Decisions and Mentoring
• Strong Administrative Law Knowledge
• Good Understanding of Relevant Legislation, Especially Sentence Calculation
