As Hatchery Manager, you will have overall responsibility for our operations in Teckomatorp. You will lead an engaged team of hatchery workers and contracted staff, ensuring that planning, production, deliveries, and customer flows operate smoothly, safely, and efficiently. The role is central to the development of both the hatchery and the company's continued success. You will work closely with our salespeople, breeding farms, and other parts of the organization to collectively drive improvement and growth.
Your responsibilities:
• Lead, coach, and develop the production and its employees.
• Responsible for data management, safety, work environment, and animal welfare.
• Establish clear working methods and follow up on goals and KPIs related to quality, time, cost, and delivery.
• Drive improvement work on routines, processes, and work methods.
• Participate in daily operational work as well as lead maintenance efforts.
• Ensure compliance with sampling, legal requirements, and certifications.
• Handle procurement and develop collaborations with contractors and suppliers.
Your profile:
• Experience in production management and logistics.
• Previous experience with personnel responsibility or leadership position.
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English.
• B driver's license.
• Technical interest and experience working with machinery and digital systems.
• Experience in poultry production or hatching is an asset.
