KFUM Central is looking for a driven individual who wants to adapt and develop our café into the association's natural meeting place. Then you might be the person we are looking for. **About the Position** As the Café Manager, you will have overall responsibility for our café operations. You will manage day-to-day activities, develop the product range, and create an environment where our visitors and members feel comfortable. **We are looking for someone who:** - Has experience in café operations - Has experience in creating offerings and making purchases - Is social and creates environments where people thrive - Takes initiative and makes things happen - Is responsible and good at planning and structuring **Responsibilities** **Daily Operations and Operational Responsibility:** You ensure that everything runs smoothly every day, from planning to service. You handle orders, ensure that the premises are clean and inviting, and manage opening and closing. The position exclusively involves working afternoons, evenings, and weekends. **Finance and Administration:** You will have budget responsibilities, make purchases and orders of raw materials and supplies, and work on cost-effectiveness and waste minimization. Cash reconciliations and sales reporting are also central. **Product Range and Quality:** This is where you really get the chance to be creative! You will be responsible for menu planning and ensuring the café maintains high quality. **Customer Contact and Service:** This is the heart of the role as the café should be the association's natural meeting place. You create an atmosphere where people want to gather, and you are curious about the guests' wishes and feedback. **Staff Responsibility:** You often work alone in the café, but when needed, you are responsible for onboarding new employees and scheduling. **Compliance:** You are responsible for ensuring that the café follows food safety regulations, workplace safety rules, and other relevant regulations. **Employment Conditions** - Employment type: Permanent with a 6-month probationary period - Working hours: Afternoon, evening, and weekend - Scope: 80% with potential increase to 100% - Start date: According to agreement - Collective Agreement: We are affiliated with the employer organization Fremia and apply the municipal collective agreement "Workers within the civil society" Do not wait to send your application.
