KemRisk is a chemical consultancy and expert in chemical information. The company offers comprehensive services, systems, and consulting assignments to its customers. The product portfolio includes safety data sheets, construction material declarations, chemical management systems, and a broad range of consulting services in the field. KemRisk's customers are primarily in the Nordic countries, but the company delivers services throughout Europe.
The team consists of 14 employees who share a strong drive and interest in their area. The head office is located in Linköping, and they are now expanding with a new colleague in Gothenburg.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a chemical consultant at KemRisk, you will work on producing safety data sheets (SDS) using their proprietary software. You will support customers and perform consultative services within chemical compliance. Here, you will guide customers on issues related to chemical legislation, such as REACH and CLP regulations, including classification and labeling of chemical products. You will work within the framework of European legislation, but the job also requires that you enjoy navigating, diving deep into complex questions, and thinking creatively to find the right path forward based on the customer's context. WHO ARE YOU?
For the chemical consultant role, we are looking for someone who has:
• An academic bachelor's degree in chemistry
• A strong interest in chemical legislation, such as REACH and CLP regulations
Previous work experience as a chemist is considered highly meritorious. Since customer contact is a central part of the role, experience in service where you enjoy helping others and building relationships is also seen as an advantage. We place great importance on your personal skills, and to fit and thrive in the role, we believe you are structured, detailed, and can independently drive your work forward. You are communicative, flexible, and good at collaborating, both internally with colleagues and externally with customers and partners. You are fluent in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing. You are engaged, enjoy taking your own initiatives, and contribute with a positive attitude and energy in your work!
