About the Role
As a category specialist at Oriola within our growing product range, you will work broadly. You will ensure smooth flow from supplier to customer and between departments. You will coordinate our marketing materials and ensure that both internal and external partners receive high-quality materials on time. You will work on supporting assortment processes by compiling materials and creating product lists, managing daily product administration, conducting analyses within our product range, and supporting the department and colleagues with various types of materials. Responsibilities
• Responsible for product data, operationally creating, updating, and quality assuring product information, pricing, logistics data, and product texts in our systems
• Coordinate product flows and act as a key function to ensure information flows correctly between suppliers, logistics, marketing, and sales. Receive, process, and ensure data reaches the right destination
• Support internal sales cycles by preparing and compiling materials, product lists, price files, and presentations for sales-related meetings
• Handle practical and system-related work for launching new products and own brands in the Swedish market
• Work daily in Excel and Power BI to prepare documentation, analyze data, and follow up product range related to market trends and consumer behaviors to optimize product offerings
• Ensure adherence to established processes and deadlines
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, we seek someone who is orderly and structured. You are analytical and able to handle a complex business with many contact points. We look for someone solution-oriented, communicative, and proactive.
• Several years of experience in a similar role within category purchasing
• Excellent Excel skills and experience handling large data sets
• Experience working in systems like SAP, Power BI, Valido, or similar
• Excellent Swedish and English skills, both spoken and written, as these are our corporate languages and used daily
• Experience in related industries such as retail, pharmaceutical, or e-commerce is valued
