Arena Matchning AB is now seeking a Career Consultant for Rusta och Matcha 2 in Eskilstuna!
Arena Matchning is growing and we are therefore looking for a driven and goal-oriented person with a strong will to coach individuals and match them appropriately to work or education within the framework of the Swedish Employment Agency's Rusta och Matcha 2 service. As a career consultant, you will implement various interventions at both individual and group levels, including resource mapping, application documents, lectures, arranging internships, and conducting coaching conversations. You will have the opportunity to be creative and adapt your work to each individual, which makes the job both enjoyable and dynamic. You will also maintain close contact with employers/companies, so familiarity with the local job market is advantageous.
We are seeking someone who is genuinely curious about people and motivated by helping others achieve their goals. You should be skilled at listening, reading between the lines, and understanding potential solutions for participants in their current situation. The role of career consultant requires a combination of structured and meticulous administrative work, identifying participants' opportunities in the job market, and finding potential internship placements. The position is located in Eskilstuna and initially as an hourly temporary position.
Primary Work Tasks:
· Conduct individual meetings to support and help candidates in their unique processes.
· Plan and conduct seminars about how the job market works and which tools enable effective job searching.
· Create job search plans for participants.
· Continuous development of employer contacts to create excellent matches.
To work with the Rusta & Matcha 2 service, you must meet one of the following requirements (attach documentation verifying these requirements in your application):
Option 1:
Education: Higher education of at least 180 higher education credits (120 credits under the previous system).
Work Experience: At least two (2) years of full-time equivalent work experience. Part-time can also be approved if the total working time corresponds to full-time over two (2) years.
Option 2:
Education: At least one (1) year of full-time post-secondary studies with at least passing results.
Work Experience: At least three (3) years of full-time equivalent work experience in one or more of the following occupations or tasks:
• Management with personnel responsibility
• Recruitment
• Career transition work for job seekers
• Study and career guidance
• Personnel matter processing (not merely administrative)
• Work with labor and job market issues
• Work with social and group psychology
• Career counseling
Part-time can also be approved if the total working time corresponds to full-time over three (3) years.
Merits include previous experience with Rusta och Matcha.
