Welcome as a Cantor to Husie Parish – a vibrant part of Malmö!
Husie Parish is an active and growing community in northeastern Malmö, where people from diverse backgrounds, experiences, and life situations come together. Here, there are both opportunities and challenges – and a big heart for making a difference.
The parish encompasses several beautiful church spaces: Syster Astrid Church, Kirseberg Church, Husie Church, and Södra Sallerup Church, as well as the Eastern Cemetery with its chapels. We have two parish halls, and by the turn of the year, the newly renovated Husie Parish Hall will be ready – your new workplace!
Music holds a natural place with us. Our churches are equipped with fine instruments, including the Tostared organ at Husie Church with 29 stops and three manuals, as well as two Steinway grand pianos.
We offer many meeting places for all stages of life – from open children’s and family activities to choirs, confirmation classes, soup lunches, Bible studies, weekly services, and Sunday masses.
